Retreat: The Obama Doctrine...

Since the inauguration, Obama has been detailing his intentions to withdraw from Iraq and more recently, Afghanistan. A strategically foolish move that has provided our enemies a timetable on our withdrawal that will give them free reign. A self serving move, bordering on treason, whereby Obama has turned ending these conflicts as a political move, jeopardizing our troops and our country in order to try to stay in power.

Now many fear an increase in violence, growing Iranian influence and political turmoil after. Iraq is defenseless in the face of the threats by the neighboring countries, with no air force to speak of and systemic intelligence shortcomings on all tactical and operational levels. Despite years of promises of better government services, most of the country gets by on a few hours of electricity a day; clearly our work is not yet done there on many, many levels. The small amount of troops Obama proposed to remain are not sufficient to prevent insurgent threats, only enough to address any aftermath. Our embassy there will remain venerable to attack, putting more lives at risk. More attacks by al-Qaida are likely to happen," said Dhia Abdullah, a Shiite from eastern Baghdad. "The security elements are not loyal to Iraq but to parties and militias therefore the security situation will be very bad after the withdrawal."

Talks to keep U.S. troops in Iraq ran aground over Iraqi opposition to giving American troops legal immunity that would shield them from Iraqi prosecution. Many Iraqi lawmakers were hesitant to grant immunity for fear of a backlash from constituents. This "roadblock" was used as an excuse for the Obama administration's expedited withdrawal from Iraq. There was no real effort to come to a mutually desirable decision; a retreat from Iraq was simply a fulfillment of one of Obama's main campaign promises to end the conflict; and it will be a disaster.

The impression of the U.S. increasingly is seen as weak by our enemies. Iranian President Ahmadinejad said that Tehran has "a very good relationship" with Iraq's government that will continue to grow. "We have deepened our ties day by day," said Ahmadinejad. Obama's failure to back the 2009 Iran uprising that protested the rigged election of President Ahmadinejad left this dangerous man in power. It makes a sane person wonder whose side our president is on.

Other Obama administration decisions have betrayed old allies; taking us from dealing with the enemy we knew, to now having to deal with the enemy that we do not. Further missteps and miscalculations from this administration have left the world a much less safe place. Many of Gadhafi's weapons remain at large, stockpiles could remain a threat long after his death, as some are feared to have been sent to Darfur rebels, al-Qaida in North Africa and other militants. Assault rifles, rocket-propelled grenades and machine guns have already passed across Libya's porous borders. Missing shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles are capable of bringing down commercial airliners. No one is sure how many of the arsenal of 20,000 are now in "rebel" hands. More than forty civilian aircraft have been hit by these portable surface-to-air missiles since 1975. A missile launcher capable of firing up to five projectiles at once was recently smuggled into the Gaza Strip and originated in Libya.

What with Tunisia, Egypt and Libya headed toward Islamic rule, Ahmadinejad's dream of an Islamic Caliphate and belief in the return of the 12th Imam, a global nightmare is moving closer to becoming a reality (see post on the 12th Imam in R&R post from 2/28/10). Intel sources now claim that Iran already is armed with a nuclear weapon; the more likely method of deployment being that of an EMP attack (see R&R post here from 8/15/09 on Electro-Magnetic Pulse). In an article titled, "Electronics to Determine Fate of Future Wars," an Iranian Military journal explains how an EMP attack on America's electronic infrastructure, caused by the detonation of a nuclear weapon high above the U.S., would bring the country to its knees. "Once you confuse the enemy communication network you can also disrupt the work of the enemy command- and decision-making center."

The killing of the thirteen of our troops in Afghanistan this week, was the deadliest ground attack on coalition forces in months. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the Kabul attack; an action claiming victory now with the U.S. in retreat. Expect more of the same; with Obama's "leadership from behind" and Carteresque philosophy, our country has gone from being the defender of freedom to being viewed as weak and ineffectual. This will be Obama's shameful legacy; a legacy that will be ended with his defeat in 2012, God willing. The survival of America and Western Civilization depends on it.

The Left And 45 Declared Communist Goals To Destroy America

Below are 45 goals of the Communist Left's plan to destroy America, taken from "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen, a former FBI agent written in 1958. These goals are essentially the doctrine of those of the hard Left wing of this country. The most disturbing thing is that most of these goals have been or are close to being achieved. The depraved Left has been working secretly to subvert America and it's Constitution. With Obama now in power, their "progress" to destroy our country has been accelerated. Obama's calls for "change" and for "transforming America" now are seen for what they truly are: the Left's cry for the destruction of America.

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

The Wall Street Mob And Obama's Agenda

The Wall Street protesters gone wild have for the most part been devoid of any intelligible, coherent message, let alone any rational means of remedy. Yet, there have been a few legitimate complaints. Record unemployment and stagnant middle class wages, do warrant attention. What these protests will ever or could ever achieve is debatable as their anger is misplaced. It has been the Obama administration's polices that have drastically worsened the nation's economy, worsened unemployment and have enabled Wall Street corruption. Many of Obama’s senior advisers have ties with Wall Street and Obama was the largest recipient of Wall Street donations. Obama has received more financially support from Wall Street than all of the GOP presidential candidates put together, in fact, Obama has received more Wall Street money than any other politician in the last 20 years. In spite of all the protesting, he is not about to give that up; prior to announcing his re-election campaign, Obama met with over two dozen Wall Street executives, many of them previous donors, in the White House’s Blue Room. Mort Zuckerman, Democrat and NY based real estate/ newspaper mogul when asked about the Wall Street mob, said that "the door to it was opened by the Obama administration, going after the 'millionaires and billionaires' as if everybody is a millionaire and a billionaire and they didn't earn it. . . . To fan that flame of populist anger I think is very divisive and very dangerous for this country." However, Obama's strategy to divide the nation via this "movement" will fail.

The tea party movement has tapped into the political process and and is having a real impact on policy decisions in Washington. Some Democrats have supported the Wall Street movement, a shortsighted move at best. The Wall Street mob movement has now being endorsed and/ or supported by the American Nazi Party, Hamas, the Muslim Public Affairs Council (which has been linked to numerous terror groups), Iran's Ayatollah and supreme leader Ayatollah (who said that the demonstrations will ultimately bring down West), among other America haters. Hard to envision any reasoned American getting behind any politician or party supporting such subversives.

Also present (and documented) at these protests, pro-Marxist signs, Anti-Semitic rants, protesters singing ‘F*** the U.S.A,’ the calls for destruction of capitalism and the collapse of America; again, not an agenda that is going to attract any rational voters. But the Left is not encumbered by reason or common sense, never have, really. Slander, race-baiting and mob rule tactics are the sort of political tactics the Left fancies. A White House spokesman announced that Obama intends to make sure that the "interests of 99 percent of Americans are well represented," '99 percent' being a divisive slogan used to separate the classes. Anything to divert attention from Solendra's half billion dollar debacle, the Fast and Furious scandal and Obama's other failures.

So, now with Obama stupidly showing his true ideology by deciding to turn the anger expressed by the lunatic fringe into a central tenet of his reelection strategy against Republicans, his defeat is now sealed. Way to go Barry.

Obama at Gay Human Rights Dinner: More Lies, More Divisive Politics

At the annual Human Rights Campaign’s annual dinner in Washington, Obama once again demonstrated that there are no depths he will not stoop to in order to smear and slander his opponents. To a cheering crowd of Gays and Lesbians, Obama propagated the widely held myth of the booing of the Gay soldier at the recent Republican debate in Orlando. At that debate, soldier Stephen Hill stood and introduced himself as a Gay soldier in the U.S. military; No boos. Nothing. It was not until Hill asked candidate Santorum the question; "Do you plan to circumvent the progress that has been made for gay and lesbian soldiers in the military?” that there was some booing. Not in response to the soldier's sexual orientation, but in regards to the change in the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy. That was it; not hateful, as Obama and those on the Left would have you believe, but in response to the policy change.

So, it looks like we will see the Obama campaign resorting to any tactic, no matter how low, no matter how divisive. So much for Obama bringing the nation together; besides, he can't exactly run on his record. Actually, he never really could run on his record, could he? Instead, expect to hear more in the vein of what Obama once said at a fundraiser in San Francisco:

'They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy towards people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.' Oh, and they hate the Gays. Of course, don't forget that one.

The Left's Destruction of Marriage: The Expansion of Poverty, Immorality and Dependence

Poverty by design has been an appalling tactic of the Left in order to expand their base and stay in power, no matter the cost to American society. This year the US Census Bureau reported 46.2 million Americans are now living below the official poverty line, up from 44 million in 2010; an increase of 2.2 million Americans in just one year. In California, total funding for K‑12 education is projected to be $63.8 billion in 2011‑12. California 2010 average of $9,863 per student ranks 23rd among U.S. states in per-pupil spending on public education, below the national average of $10,259. The more money thrown at it, the worse it gets; Of 30 comparable countries, the United States ranks near the bottom. ... 2010, For instance, math - Finland is first, followed by South Korea, and the United States is number 25. Is spending per student a factor? No; $129,000 from K through 12. The other countries average $95,000. Everything the government touches turns to crap (with the incompetent decision of the $535 million government-backed loans to Solyndra being the latest example) and education is no exception. With public education, teachers, for the most part, are not paid on merit, but tenure. Any enterprise that is able to exist without competition and with performance of it's workers not ranked or monitored, simply cannot thrive, let alone improve it's product.

The Left's single most focus as far as education is the support and expansion of the teacher's unions. Teachers unions contribute 95 percent of their funds to Democrats, In 2008, unions spent $74.5 million in campaign contributions, with $68.3 million going to the Democratic Party. While expanding their numbers on every level; local, county, state and federal, they are able to expand their influence via the vast sums of cash from teacher's unions.

The idea that a lack of education is the overriding cause of poverty; every student is taught that by not graduating from high school, the chance of succeeding in life is diminished considerably. What is not mentioned and taught is that having a baby outside of marriage is just as much a determinant of living a life of poverty. Any talk of heterosexual marriage being the better choice is almost hate speech; we must spare "feelings," no matter how factually incorrect. Unwed childbearing has risen from 6.3 percent of all births in 1964, when President Lyndon Johnson launched the War on Poverty, to more than 40 percent today. Welfare enabled and encouraged this behavior and today, single-parent families with children are six times more likely to be poor than are married couples with kids. Those on welfare overwhelming vote Democrat and what this has bred is a forever expanding welfare state by design. A very sick method of expanding party ranks, but it works like a charm; for what fool that is collecting welfare would vote against the welfare party?

So, traditional marriage is not encouraged and single motherhood is now embraced as a choice that is just as noble, just as desirable as traditional marriage. Along those same lines, differences between males and females are discounted; marriages between two mommies or two daddies. What is now taught in our schools is that child born to a marriage between a man and a woman is no longer the norm, let along the best choice. Single motherhood, whoever, whatever all are equal; men are necessary for conception, but otherwise unnecessary. The public school system is brainwashing our children by selective censoring information and by peddling moral relativism. So, it's screw the numbers, screw the statistics and screw society. If you have children in the public school system, beware. Better yet, get them out.

Should The 9/11 Terrorists Be Forgiven?

Dear Father E:

I attended noon mass today and was happy when during the start of your sermon, you began to address 9/11. I was holding my breath a bit as the theme of the passages read prior concerned forgiveness. Essentially your sermon urged that we Catholic Christians ought to forgive the terrorist perpetrators. Then, it would follow, that we also should offer love and forgiveness to any who wish to destroy our country, our society and to those who wish to destroy Christianity, including any others that do not follow and practice their "religion". It was all I could do during your sermon not to get up and walk out. There was one thing that I stayed for; I did have to go up after mass and look at the church's display of the names of the nearly 3,000 souls lost that day. Where were the names of the 19 terrorist that committed those hideous acts? Why were they not included? Where was your forgiveness there?

This "feel-good" take on Christian forgiveness undermines the moral foundations of this great country, whose creation was based on Judea-Christian values. This doctrine turns the true meaning of Christian forgiveness on it's head. This latest take on Christian forgiveness amorally advances the notion that we as Christian and Americans will forgive any deplorable, murderous act; no matter how heinous. Is forgiveness not contingent on the transgressor first asking for forgiveness? Even Almighty God's forgiveness is given only if the sinner repents. As far as myself, or anyone else "forgiving" the terrorist jihadists for their acts on 9/11; that in itself is a particularly abhorrent notion. Forgiveness can only be given to the sinner from those that he directly wronged and sinned against. Thus, only those that were so savagely murdered that day are the only ones who can forgive their murderers. The following passage, I believe, more accurately represents our faith and our God's stand on forgiveness: Luke 17:3-4: "And if your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if seven times of the day he sins against you, and seven times of the day turns to you saying, I repent, you shall forgive him."

The Islamist terrorists comprise roughly 10% of the one billion Muslims world wide, or upwards of 100 million people who wish to bring about a global caliphate and destroy us and our way of life. The Islamists practice a faith or some twisted version of a faith whose "god" celebrates and rewards murder, rape, pedophilia and genocide. In my mind it is a religion more closely aligned with that of the devil. In short, I believe that to offer love and forgiveness to the terrorist's acts of 9/11 is to offer that same love and forgiveness to Satan himself. Funny, I don't remember ever hearing a sermon on that. Maybe next week; who knows. Even if, I'm not sure that I will be back again to hear it.

How many revolutions have worked out well in Muslim countries?

Sadly, none to be exact. The most recent was of course the Iranian revolution of 1979. Demonstration for the Shah of Iran began in January of 1978, with demonstration and strikes paralyzing the country for months, not unlike what has been transpiring in Egypt. President Carter's lack of support of the Shah when Khomeni deposed him, was the single most influencing factor that led to the rise of radical fundamentalist Islam. Today with Obama unfortunately, we have Carter 2.0.

During the recent revolts of 2009; Obama chose not to "mettle;" that lack of leadership no doubt contributed to the failure of that movement to oust Ahmadinejad and Islamic rule. Why Obama chose to now support the protesters in Egypt is any one's guess. Mubarak and his predecessor Anwar Sadat help keep peace in the region and recognized Israel as a state. We recently also saw the Obama administration's obsession with Israel's building additional housing in Jerusalem, while did nothing as Iran sought nukes. Much easier to stab America's allies in the back than it is to stand up to it's enemies.

The situation in Egypt continues to be a confusing one; Mubarak appears to be ready to step down and hand over rule to Egypt's military; something that presently is outside of Egypt's constitution. Obama is full of himself using phrases like "Egypt's transformation" and "the people calling for change." Gee, where have we heard those before?

The problem is that Egypt, as with most all countries in the Middle East, has only known dictatorships and Islamic rule. If Egypt's military is to take over power from Mubarak, it can only last so long. Radical Islam is ready to pounce and is biding it's time. The Muslim Brotherhood has been entrenched in Egypt since it's inception there in 1928, clearly they are in no hurry. The odds favoring Egypt becoming a western style democracy are not good; if we can somehow keep Egypt from becoming another Lebanon or Gaza, it will be no small miracle for the U.S. and Israel.

Egypt, the Next Iran?

Riots and protest in Egypt have now gone on for one week, anarchy reigns and the protests have become increasingly anti-American as well as anti-Israel. After continuing to support the Egyptian dictator for 30 years, along with support of their military with 1.3 billion dollars per year; the relative calm in the region is in jeopardy. Double digit inflation, food shortages, high unemployment have led to Egypt's present tenuous situation and it's government's implosion. Mubarak should have taken steps to quell public discord years ago; after 30 years of Mubarak's rule, the Egyptian people have had enough and there is no going back; so Mubarak is finished. And where was the US State Department for the past 30 years?

The situation is dire for the West; Egypt has been a moderate ally in the region; a vital necessity in order to keep the transport of the world's oil supply through the Suez Canal secure. Meanwhile, world oil prices are skyrocketing. Egypt's practice of preventing the flow of so-called Palestinians over their border with Gaza is has fallen, terrorist prisoners have already escaped into Gaza and God knows what else; a terrible development for Israel.

Egypt's army is the only somewhat stabilizing element in the country; not keeping order, but waiting out the situation. There is no moderate or secular movements that has been allowed to foster in in Mubarak's Egypt; none to step up to fill the power vacuum that now exists. Islamist institutions such as the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas are the only ones capable of replacing failed government institutions. The leftist media has whitewashed the Muslim Brotherhood, which is a brutal Islamic supremacist group who were chiefly responsible for the assassination of Anwar Sadat. That as well as the terror attack in Luxor on Nov. 17, 1997, when six men dressed in black attacked and killed sixty-two tourists, including children. The Muslim Brotherhood has now rallied behind retired diplomat Mohamed ElBaradei to lead possible talks with the army on organizing a handover of power to a national unity coalition.

Expect Egypt like Lebanon to move towards Islamist governments that support terror; Jordan could be next in line. Israel has for now keep silent as it' situation is becoming more dire as pro western Middle East countries are failing. According to the Daily Telegraph, the Obama administration has "secretly backed" figures behind the Egyptian uprising who for three years have been planning a “regime change.” Why such a gamble when the eventual outcome could lead to an Islamic government? This from a President who preferred not to "meddle" during last years Iranian uprising challenging the legitimacy of Iran's Islamic system of rule.

Egypt's opposition leader ElBaradei, who until recently had been under house arrest, now has announced that he had been given a mandate to make contact with the army and build a new government in Egypt. Not surprisingly, the Muslim Brotherhood has announced that they now support ElBardei. The situation here is eerily close to what we faced with the fall of the Shaw of Iran under Carter.

Islam is based upon the Trilogy—Koran, Sira and Hadith. Islam is a political ideology dividing the world into Muslims and unbelievers, kafirs. In spite of what George W. Bush and others may believe; most of the people of the Middle East are not "yearning" for democracy. There is a semblance of democracy in Iraq, but likely will last only as long as our troops remain. The Palestinians in Gaza, when given the choice voted in Hamas, Lebanon is now controlled by Hezbollah and Egypt's odds are that will follow the same path. At least with Mubarak, the devil we knew was better than the possible alternative. The Muslim Brotherhood is now closer to power with the backing of ElBardei. The Brotherhood's slogan? "Islam is the solution." The Muslim Brotherhood spawned Hamas; if they are now to control Egypt, why should we expect the result to be anything more favorable? Meaning, Egypt is now likely to become an authoritarian military regime, or a Radical Islamist regime. Egypt's change in leadership could mean an end to Egypt's peace treaty with Israel as well as a new phase in the United States' war against the jihadists.

Obama's State of the Union: A Night of Pretense, Deception and Lies

Obama will call for new government spending on infrastructure, education and research in his State of the Union address Tuesday, just as his critics have prematurely praise his shift towards the "middle." Also, Obama's poll numbers have improved, likely due to his recent speech in Tuscon along with his calling for "significant" budget cuts.

What this soon to be announced increased spending is reported to include initiatives aimed at building the renewable-energy sector, rebuilding roads and to restructure the No Child Left Behind program. Billions to be spent programs that have already received billions from the last $800 million dollars stimulus. Who said that Keynesian Economics was dead? So much for Obama's shift to the middle.

Obama has now appointed crony capitalist and job outsourcer GE Chief Executive Jeffrey Immelt to lead a new President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Obama's alleged pivot toward competitiveness is merely cover for bigger government and further spending. Obama's proposal to reduce the budget deficit while simultaneously pushing for what essentially is yet another stimulus package would be laughable if it wasn't so insulting. Yes, it's business as usual in the Obama administration; defy the will of the American people, the use of Keynesian economics and follow that Cloward and Piven strategy.

Puzzling is the rise of Obama's poll numbers; according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, his approval rating has risen to 53%. With Rasmussen's latest daily Presidential Tracking Poll, 30% strongly approve of the job Obama is doing, while 36% strongly disapprove. Conflicting results, to be sure.

One disturbing development is that, according to Gallup, during the quarter ended Jan. 19, Obama averaged 46.0 percent job approval. Though still low in an absolute sense, this marks the first time his approval rating has improved from one quarter to the next, granted a small improvement. Of the three most recent presidents with approval ratings most similar to Obama’s at this point in their presidency, the two whose ratings improved in the third year, Reagan and Clinton were re-elected. Carter whose ratings decreased lost his reelection.

Up until now the idea of Obama winning a second term seemed a remote possibility; not anymore. The American people have to wake up to the fact that their president is a leftist ideologue and that Obama's supposed move to the center is merely part of a strategy to win his next election. I'd like to think that the American people are smarter than to be taken in by this big phony; perhaps not. Findings from that NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll say that 40% of respondents believe that Obama is a moderate, 11% of Americans consider Obama to be a conservative. Obama? On what planet is Obama a moderate, let alone a conservative? If this is how the American voters view things, we may be doomed to a hellish second term. If so, after eight years of Obama rule, we will not recognize our country; it will have been irreversibly "transformed" and it will be bye bye U.S. Constitution and hello Communist Manifesto.

Christina Taylor Green; Making Sense of the Senseless

Of all the horror of the murderous rampage of January 7 in Arizona, the most sickening and heart-wrenching is the murder of a nine year old girl, Christina Taylor Green. It is incomprehensible how her family is dealing with their loss as well as they are. What we have learned from Christina's mother's statement is what a remarkable young girl the world has lost. From being the only girl on her Little League baseball team, The Pirates, to her being elected to her elementary school's student council. Her interest in things political led to her attending with a neighbor the "Congress on Your Corner" event outside a Tucson Safeway on Saturday to meet Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Arizona. “She was a good speaker. I could have easily seen her as a politician,” her dad told the Arizona Star.

Roxanna Green said that her daughter was “very interested in government, she was interested in her community, how she could help her community.”

“They tried to save her but she just couldn’t make it…I saw her right after that. I spent a lot of time with her, and I said goodbye to her.”

Christina was featured in a book called “Faces of Hope: Babies Born on 9/11.” Her parents said that 9/11/2001 being the day of her birth gave Christina an interest in politics. Christina was in fact proud of the fact that she was born on 9/11 and was a patriotic kid, often leaving the house wearing red, white and blue.

'She was a beautiful girl and so intelligent and her light shines on all of us today and forever, and I just have it in my heart that my angel is with my grandmother and my mum in heaven,' said her mother Roxanna Green. 'I'm so proud of her. I'm still proud of her today. I know that she's going to do great things in heaven. She's my angel.'

All of it very hard to grasp and even harder for most of us to make sense of; thankfully it seems that her family through their Catholic faith, at least in some ways have.

Christina can also, I believe, still do great things here on Earth. Her senseless murder must be an event that will empower us all to take any and all steps to seek psychiatric help for any soul we encounter in our live that are sick, troubled and a potential danger to themselves and others.

Unfortunately what we are seeing is political bomb throwing, primarily from the left, accusing talk radio, Sarah Palin's blog, the Tea Party; you name it. Perhaps the sickest of all is a Democrat group calling itself 21st Century Democrats that is using the massacre for political fund raising. Enough already.

The psychotically damaged shooter, Jared Loughner was if anything, a crazed leftist. His favorite books included Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto; hardly books on any conservative reading list.

Each of us, as members in this society need to actively seek help for those that we encounter in our personal and professional lives who we believe are in need of psychiatric help. People like Loughner, Mark David Chapman, the Virgina Tech killer, Ted Bundy, David Berkowitz and the like don't just happen in a vacuum. There were people in these killers' lives who KNEW that these individuals were potential threats, yet did nothing. E-mails sent by a classmate of Loughner prior to the Tuscon massacre depict Loughner as potentially violent. "Hopefully he will be out of class very soon and not come back with an automatic weapon," the student wrote June 1, 2010, which was the first day of class. Subsequent e-mails raised similar concerns about Loughner. Stopping potential killers before they kill, is about our society's only option.

In addition we need to see increased security for our judges, our politicians like Gabrielle Giffords as well as future ones like Christina Taylor Green.

The TSA's Illusion of Safety Is a Disaster Waiting To Happen

Following the attacks of September 11, the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007 was formed. What was mandated was that 100% of all cargo on passenger jets were to be screened for explosives by 2010. Only 20% of the nine billion pounds of cargo is presently being screened by the TSA; in flights that originate from other countries, it's another story.

Only four hours before an international flight arrives at it's US destination does the TSA receives the list of that plane's cargo contents; how reliable that information received from another country may be is anyone's guess. Then a computer, not a TSA employee makes the determination as to which if any package is suspect. One problem, that package is already on the plane; at this point it is obviously a bit too late. Yet another lapse; cargo workers are seldom required to pass through any security searches prior to beginning their shift.

It is clear that just about any terrorist could get a bomb on virtually any flight via a checked bag. It is only a matter of time until this happens unless Homeland Security wakes up; don't hold your breath on that one. Why there has not been a successful terrorist act involving passenger baggage remains a mystery; but we cannot expect this gigantic security loophole to be not be exploited by our enemy for long.

TSA and Homeland Security operate in a knee-jerk fashion; a bomb found in shoes, we are then required to take our shoes off. Liquid explosives are found in another terror attempt and we are limited to four oz. bottles (why four oz, who knows, why any?). Printer cartridges were discovered to be used to carry explosives, now ink cartridges are banned. What if the next plot involves a cell phone? Can you imagine the TSA banning those? Well, from past history, that is indeed what they would do; imagine that nightmare. All of this innane banning of specific items solves nothing; the terrorists simply try another. Bin Laden must be laughing his skinny terrorist ass off.

Any government agency is not as efficient nor effective as one run by the private sector. Have the TSA concentrate only on cargo, period; the TSA cannot multi-task, that is abundantly clear. Revamp their procedures and reorganize their entire system. Leave the baggage to the TSA and leave the passengers to the airlines. Airlines know their frequent fliers for one, they for one are less of a risk (along with grannies, children and Nuns). The airline know which of their passengers have paid in cash, booked a one way flight, checked no bags, etc, the TSA staff is not privy to any of that information. Airlines also have a vested interest in securing their planes and would have more ability to profile any potential threat vs. a government agency that would be obsessed with political correctness. Just look to the Israeli model, one that has been a success for decades.

What with the news about the potential health dangers of the TSA's naked body scanners, findings that TSA frisks may groom children to cooperate with sex predators and other issues,it is clear, the present system is ineffective, obtrusive and makes flying more, not less dangerous. Since it's inception, the TSA has not caught a single terrorist, nor prevented any terror plot; that work has been done by brave and perceptive passengers. With the present administration unable to even name it's enemy, don't expect any meaningful changes for now; another reason for regime change in 2012. Our lives depend on it.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid: The Post-Election Delusions of the Left

Nancy Pelosi announced that she will be seeking a run for minority leader after the Republicans won control of the House. In a letter to her supporters she wrote: "Our work is far from finished. As a result of Tuesday’s election, the role of Democrats in the 112th Congress will change, but our commitment to serving the American people will not. We have no intention of allowing our great achievements to be rolled back. It is my hope that we can work in a bipartisan way to create jobs and strengthen the middle class." What "people" does she think that she is serving? Her approval rating in a CBS poll stands at pitiful 11 percent. The policies she has supported have decimated her party and most see her as a pathetic failure of a politician not to mention, a truly embarrassing pick for first woman Speaker of the House. The Republican National Committee has now replaced the enormous sign on the front of it's DC building from "Fire Pelosi!" to "Hire Pelosi!" Her "leadership" has done more damage to the Democratic Party than the Republicans ever dreamed of accomplishing. Her running for minority leader only verifies what I have always known; the poor thing is a certifiable dimwit.

Harry Reid; also seems disconnected from reality. His statement after somehow keeping his Senate seat said: "We are now starting to see things beginning to turn around as the measures we have taken continue to work. I remain convinced that by coming together Nevada’s future still is as bright as it has ever been." What in the hell is he talking about? Nevada's “actual” unemployment rate in the third quarter of 2010 increased to 22.3 percent! Reid's blind ideological support for policies have made Nevada a disaster and the United States a debtor nation of unimaginable proportions. He and his party have shackled our economy with trillions of dollars in debt for programs that are only a boon to himself and his cronies.

Saving the worst for last is Obama; our train wreak of a president. Following the mid-term election he said: "No one party will be able to dictate where we go from here." He is right about that; his "mandate" is over and his dictatorial method of governance is now mercifully ended.

On health care: "If Republicans have some ideas" for cutting costs of health care or making other changes in the bill, he said he would be glad to take a look. This jackass has repeatedly ignored and/ or dismissed all Republican proposals, most notably, the Roadmap for America's Future from Rep. Paul Ryan. And let us not forget the health care summit in Baltimore where Obama summarily rejected all proposals from the other side of the aisle.

Obama's reasoning for the Republican election tidal wave? "We did a poor job of explaining what we were trying to do." This irrational drivel from the man that gave 54 mind-numbing speeches in a failed effort to sell the American people on his 2,309 page healthcare monstrosity.

What are we to expect now? With the many successes of the mid-term elections now behind us, we have won the battle, but the war still rages. We still have the above mentioned ideologues in power, albeit diminished. They still fully intend to "transform" America by running it off the Socialist cliff. Their agenda blinds them to reality; in their minds, it is the American people that just don't get it. Our rejection of them and their policies only proves to them how stupid we really are. You see, for Reid, Pelosi and Obama, denial truly is just a river in Egypt.

Obama and the Left's Appeasement to Radical Islam and Why It Will Not End Well

Obama and the Left both here in America and abroad have caved in to, bowed and scraped and have appeased radical Islam to such an extent it has become their norm rather than the isolated incident. The worst case of late is the Obama administration's obscene lack of a strong, appropriate response to the people of Iran's mass pro-democracy demonstrations. In what was the bravest example in recent memory of a nations people's attempt to a brutal, fanatical and totalitarian regime. Perhaps the Obama administration was simply once again, merely classless; though the more likely reason would be a "Carteresqe" response to thugs and terrorists; appeasing you enemies coupled with inaction and empty threats. Not only has this method been proven throughout history as ineffective, it also casts the appeaser as weak, incompetent and worst of all an easy target.

As far as the left, one only needs to look to NPR's buffoonish response to one of it's host/ journalists, Juan Williams. Mr. Williams made a rather innocuous statement in regards to Muslims and radical Islam. Aside from NPR's well known disapproval of it's staff working as contributors to Fox News, what seemed to have been the tipping point here was the stink raised by CAIR the front group for radical Isalm that masquerades as a Muslim advocacy non-profit (The good news here is that CAIR's involvement in Williams' firing may be violation of Foreign Agents Registration Act). Here is a glaring example of the Left's automatically siding with America's enemies regardless of outcome or how it may be perceived.

Obama and the Left have much in common with radical Islam; an unholy alliance that will bring only backfire on these useful idiots. Examples of the radical Left's siding with America and the free world's enemies abound: supporting Communism during the cold war, Naom Chomsky's support of Hezbollah, Cindy Sheehan and her solidarity of support to the Taliban, Jimmy Carter embracing terrorists in Gaza, "activists" supporting the Flotillas in Gaza, to name but a few.

Why support and admire your enemies that would gladly behead you? Because the left hates America just as much as our enemies do. The left has suicidal obsession with adversary cultures and totalitarian regimes. The radical Left's ultimate goal is to create a Leftist utopia; both they and radical Islam hate the West and all it represents. This is their common bond; their enemy is essentially the same; only one has a socialist vision, the other, one of a global Islamist state. The both hate free democracies and they share the common goal; to create global destruction and build anew from those ashes (see the Cloward and Piven Strategy). A bit like "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" only the left often acts on emotion rather than in a more reasoned way.

If we Americans loose this nation to the Left and Obama's twisted Marxist vision; who then wins? Will it be the radical Left or the radical Islamists? This is a question that Left hasn't pondered, let alone answer; this it seems to be their delusional, suicidal mission's Achilles heel. Once the joint mission of the West's destruction is achieved, the Left's role as the useful idiot is eventually culminated and is played out. Here, the left meets it's nemesis: just as they conquer their foe; Democracy and Capitalism, they will then meet their own destruction when their "ally" finally turns on them. The pacifistic left has never fought a battle and has never won a war; let along of the one of the magnitude the war on radical Islam presents.

This is why we must fight to keep our nation out of the hands of those who seek to destroy it. With the past midterm elections, we Conservatives have won a decisive battle, but it is just a start. 22 of the 46 "Blue Dog" Democrats were voted out, the result; the Democrat party will now be composed almost exclusively of the radical left. Only Conservatism can save the Republic; any extended rule by the radical left in this country will only guarantee it's eventual downfall. Such political philosophy does not bring strength and prosperity, it only brings reliance on entitlements, bloated governments and failed states. Just look to Iceland, Greece and France, countries which are on the verge of collapse. By embracing "diversity" rather than preserving and protecting it's own cultures, the European continent will be predominantly Muslim by the year 2050.

And so the fight continues.

Background: I went to view the two year old YouTube video of the introduction of Sarah Palin by John McCain as his running mate for his Presidential run. This was mostly to see again what she said that inspired me that day. Aside from the video, what I found were many foul, offensive and incendiary comments about Sarah Palin by those of the Left. Well this got my dander up and I ended up replying to a few. My main issue aside from the nastiness of the rants was my question; why on Earth did they choose to take the trouble to view a Sarah Palin video, if they hate her so? What is that about? As far as I am concerned, I go out of my way to avoid at ALL costs any Obama video or sound bite; sorry, I think he is on a mission to ruin (in his words: "transform") this great country and for that I cannot tolerate anything that he says; a normal reaction. So why would these folks on the Left bother to seek out a Sarah Palin video? Because they are obsessed with her in some strange/ sick way. I have had the unfortunate experience of observing the Left's rage being expressed in highly emotional, irrational ways. I have many times observed, for instance, that an attractive Conservative woman, a Conservative Black person or an unsuspecting Conservative Gay person to often suffer (to some extent) the same wrath from the Left as Sarah Palin has and still does.

In one of my responses on YouTube, I mentioned that I considered Obama to be a Marxist. Well that set some of them off; wanting "proof" or to argue the point. So here it is:

The Obama administration has worked to demolish the economy of the United States in in order to usher in government control. This would include Obama's war on business, including his fight to extend the Bush tax cuts to anyone making over $250,000; the "rich" which encompasses most small businesses.

Obama stated his belief that "we have to spread the wealth around, we have to redistribute the wealth of this country through taxation;" a paraphrasing of Marx's "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need." This philosophy of his strongly influences the policies that he supports.

His health care "reform" is nothing more than his plan to achieve a single payer, government controlled system. By placing undue, punitive burdens on private insurance companies, an obpressive environment will be created that will prevent these providers from creating essential profits and our private insurance companies will soon disappear. A win for the Obama administration and government control of one sixth of the American economy.

Obama's Marxist foreign policy rejects our longtime allies (Israel, Poland and the Czech Republic for example) by removing or reducing vital support, leaving Israel at risk from the terror supporting Iran and the latter two vulnerable to the increasing totalitarian Russia. Obama rejects our allies and embraces our enemies.

Obama's Cap and Trade is a thinly veiled Marxist transfer of wealth. It is a policy he still intends to pursue; along with having parts implemented by the EPA.

Obama's past also reveals his Marxist ties. Just a few off the top of my head: Bill Ayres, Jeremiah Wright, many in his cabinet, such as Obama appointed Van Jones, a known Marxist socialist.

With all of that being said, anyone who still takes issue with my "Obama is a Marxist" statement will never be convinced no matter what I say nor any examples I may cite.

Obama has increased Federal spending over his first two years by a whopping 20.4%. The intention: Bringing about "transformative" change by overloading and collapsing our present economic system. Google the Cloward and Piven strategy to understand what we are up against here.

You see, I came from the Left, I was an activist with several Leftist "causes". What finally transformed me into a Conservative thinker was September 11, among other things, but mostly it was the questioning my old beliefs. After examining both sides, I made my choice. I now see the majority of the Left to be corrupt, deceptive, race baiters, being largely immoral. In my humble opinion, that in this day and age, that those who still embrace the Left are, I believe, well beyond reason.

9/11 Pennsylvania Memorial Will Also Mark Islamic Victory

As the world is focused on the proposed Islamic center/mosque at the Ground Zero site in Lower Manhattan, work on continues on another controversial project in Pennsylvania. The memorial for the 40 crew and passenger that died on September 11 while attempting to take control of United Airlines flight 93, which the hijackers intended to crash into either the White House or the Capitol Building.

The controversy of the Pennsylvania memorial named The Crescent of Embrace, involves the section of the memorial; the Memorial Pathway that is virtually identical to the Islamic crescent, moon and star symbol, which to believers, signifies divinity, sovereignty and victory. As the proposed mosque project at the World Trade Center site would denote an Islamic victory, so does the design of the Flight 93 memorial. One other disturbing fact is that the crescent points where? To Mecca.

There has been some outcry demanding the crescent design be stricken from the memorial. The Park Service at first dismissed these concerns, proposed minor changes, but the design still remains basically the same. The Crescent of Embrace, some theorize is designed to be the world's largest mosque. In an attempt by the Park Service to silence critics, Muslim scholars were brought in as consultants but they gave at best dishonest explanations and excuses; such that the sheer size of the proposed crescent, somehow made it irrelevant.

Another offensive aspect of the Pennsylvania memorial are the proposed glass panels each to commemorate the individual victims of the crash. How many? 44; meaning the terrorists are also to be memorialized. Park Service representatives have denied this claim, but they have proven to be less than truthful in regards to the other concerns of this project.

It is obvious that this memorial itself is being essentially hijacked by our enemies, so that it will be a "victory mosque" symbolizing Islam's dominion over it's enemies just as the proposed project on Park Place in Lower Manhattan will be. As this project grows closer to it's completion date, it is essential that we Americans take back this memorial and deny Islam fanatics another win.

NYC Panel OKs Ground Zero Mosque; A Win For Al Qaeda?

They call it Cordoba House, named for the of the Caliphate of Cordoba in the seventh century in Spain, when Islam conquered and ruled Spain for 800 years. As "Remember the Alamo" has been a rallying cry for the US military so is Cordoba and what it represents, a rallying cry for Islam; a name that is symbolic of Islam's conquest over the west. Naming the Islamic center/ mosque at ground zero Cordoba House is our enemies' way of establishing a victory marker in Lower Manhattan and stunningly, it has been given the blessing of the foolish Mayor Bloomberg and, of course, the Left. Names matter as do dates to our enemy; the projected start date for the this abomination? September 11, 2011. If someone would have read you the proceeding scenario in the days following the attacks of 9/11, you no doubt would have laughed at the impossibility of the very thought. Yet America is allowing this obscenity to to be erected near the Ground Zero site; defiling the memory of all those who perished on that day. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is Chairman of Cordoba Initiative claims that the goal of this project is to heal wounds; instead it is callously reopening them. This imam is at best a liar; a man who refuses to call Hamas a terrorist organization and refuses disclose who is funding the 100 million dollar project.

The White House was asked for comment on the decision to permit the mosque to be build at the Ground Zero site, spokesmouth Robert Gibbs stated: “I think this is rightly a matter for New York City and the local community to decide,” and that it was a 'local matter' and that the president would not meddle in local affairs. Tell that to Arizona or the Cambridge Police that acted "stupidly". Once again, Obama taking the side of our enemies.

Once more, America is seen as weak by the world and more importantly, our enemies. We allow Iran to become a nuclear power, as we agree to reduce our own arsenal. We allow North Korea to bomb our allay South Korea and say and do nothing. We treat terror attacks against us as ordinary crime scenes and read terrorists their rights. We have a president who travels the world bowing, scraping and apologizing to our enemies. And now, less than nine years after 9/11 we cave to political correctness and give our enemies what they see as a great victory. No good can come out of the building of this monstrosity. With the building of a Ground Zero mega-mosque, we have given our enemy a very big win and we have emboldened them. So, can Al Qaeda can relax now that their enemy America has become a willing victim? No, not if we patriotic Amerians stand up to this outrage.

NAACP Attacking Tea Parties, Pushing the Obama Agenda and Dividing America

The NAACP has now taken to attacking the Tea Party movement and calling the group racist. Yet again, when the left (and the NACCP is now definitely a leftist organization) cannot win an augment based on facts, it resorts to mudslinging and slander. Apparently they never hear of Andrew Breitbart's challenge of an offer of $100,000 to anyone that could produce any proof of racial slurs (the N word, specifically) being hurled at a recent DC Tea Party rally.

A look on the NAACP website carries a denouncement of the Oscar Grant verdict, a case where there was no evidence of the tragic killing being a deliberate act(see the posting of July 11 on this blog). The jury deliberated and gave the accused a very stiff sentence; not enough for the NAACP, nor Holder's DOJ for that matter. The NAACP has also issued a legal challenge to the Arizona "racial profiling law" as the NAACP calls it. Just more race baiting which ironically, again mirrors the recent actions of Holder's DOJ.

The NAACP endorses the Cap and Trade legislation, won't denounce the New Black Panther's racist remarks nor their illegal actions of voter intimidation during the last presidential election. The NAACP adopted a resolution condemning state Attorney Generals' lawsuits against Obamacare. Maybe worst of all, the NAACP supports taxpayer funding for abortion; just like surprise, Obama. On average 1,876 black babies are aborted each year in the United States, over 13 million sicce 1973.

The NAACP long ago ceased being a relevant civil rights organization (their curious use of the antiquated term "Colored" only bemoans this fact. This organization has now become just another radical leftist group that blindly supports ANY legislation and ANY position of the Obama Administration. One wonders what more does the NAACP need to do in order to have it's tax exempt status revoked?

Obama and Holder: The Deplorable Use of Race to Divide and "Transform" America

The Obama administration and it's Justice Department have chosen not to pursue prosecution of the New Black Panthers on voter intimidation charges; this decision is quite telling, as is the accusations coming from a DOJ whistle blower. An attorney on the case, J. Christian Adams has accused the DOJ of racial bias for dropping charges against the New Black Panther Party and that "It (the DOA) will only pursue cases with minority victims" You can bet your life that if the roles were reversed and it was a white activist group intimidating black voters, the DOJ would be all over it. With Arizona's anti-illegal immigration bill, Holder's DOJ is planning to sue that state on the grounds of racial profiling. Nevermind the fact that the bill mirrors federal laws and specifically prohibits profiling; this administration can't seem to control itself where race is concerned.

More recent is Holder's DOJ opening a probe to investigate the shooting of Oscar Grant, a black 22 year old by a white former San Francisco BART transit officer, Johannes Mehserle. The shooter claimed that in the confusion of the arrest of Grant, the officer accidentally grabbed his gun instead of his teaser and fired. The jury believed Mr. Mehserle's story and determined that his actions were criminally negligent and could be given to up to 14 years; not exactly a light sentence. Now the DOJ is investigating to see if Grant's civil rights were violated, if so, that would mean even more jail time for Mehserle. The shooting was obviously a horrible mistake and not murder. Why would the officer, for whatever reason, shoot a suspect, who was lying face down and unarmed in the back? Moreover, the shooting was done in front of a crowd witnesses with camera phones running and with other transit officers at the scene. It's ridiculous for anyone to reach the conclusion that this was a deliberate murder. But, not for Obama and his Attorney General.

Here again, reverse the roles with a black perpetrator and a white victim; there is no way in hell that the DOJ would spend a second contemplating an investigation in such a case. It appears he Obama administration whether consciously or unconsciously, is obsessed with race and racism (both real and imagined)and is using reverse racism to redress our country's history regarding race and it's social inadequacies. It is a very disturbing realization that our first black/ half black president is so damaged and resentful that he has taken to attacking the very country where the majority elected him. With the abysmal handling of the gulf coast oil spill (as with so many things), one may start to rethink Obama's aptitude for the job. Though, was it a "good Idea" for our country to elect a community organizer and part-time professor to the highest office in the land? Perhaps not, but not so with the fully indoctrinated; all is good. Any mention to my leftist friends that perhaps their man is a "walking, breathing train wreck", or, is "pathetically and horrifyingly out of his league" or is , "the most God-awful president in US history since Carter" are met with scowls, shock and horror. Go figure!

His attempt to turn our country into a clone of the failed and nearly bankrupt European state is to the untrained eye beyond perplexing. I suppose he is so profound in his divine wisdom as an ex part-time professor, that this gives him a leg up on perfecting this road to economic hell. In his wisdom, his cabinet, are similarly made up of those with the same twisted mindset of academia. Luckily for all of us they are apparently giving him all the delusional support that he desires and seems to need so badly. Good for them!

Lucky for we, the stupid masses, Obama is massively growing the economy in an apparent attempt to collapse it (see the writings of those wacky numbskulls that are Cloward and Piven!). Also, we should all get on our knees to Obama for throwing a wreaking ball into the greatest healthcare system the world has ever seen (oh, don't worry about that required rationing that follows every other such entitlement that has been instituted worldwide). And, never mind that he is still out there selling the abomination; so stupid the American public is! One would think that something so glorious would sell itself. Apparently not; but, not to worry; Barry knows best!

Old allies (allies prior to our man Barry, anyway) are now on the outs of his administration and old enemies are given preferred, even gracious treatment. Israel (with whom he stands up for about as often as he does his own county; supposedly the US) is now facing mounting threats from two fronts, the freedom loving Iranian backed Hamas and Hezbollah. Also, North Korea sinks a South Korean ship with hardly a word. Attempted attacks are on the rise inside the US, with their success only prevented due to chance and happenstance. I could go on, but I don't have all night here. But, hey, don'tcha all feel safer?

Not to worry, there is more to come on Barry's political horizon. Next is the US economy's dagger to it's heart, "Cap and Trade". Secure the border? No, better to trash Arizona that only seeks to enforce the non-enforced federal law. Yes, much better we pit state against state and promote statewide boycotts. It's OK folks, Barry likes the amnesty, his party needs the votes; that should be enough for you. If you don't like it, move to Mexico. That is if you can get around Mexico's nasty and punitive immigration laws.

I don't know what kind of society that the messiah Barry is trying to usher in, but so far it looks like our Founder's worst nightmare. But, not to worry Americans, Barry is out there swearing like a sailor. Yes, his shallow attempt to try to fool the masses that he is a president with a backbone and that he possesses the fury to protect a country that he has great contempt for is surely a sight for sore eyes.

We Oppose the Mosque at "Ground Zero"

Numerous ACT! for America members, as well as leaders of Stop Islamization of America (SOIA), and many other concerned citizens, attended the Community Board 1 meeting in lower Manhattan regarding the proposed “ground zero mosque.”

From the report we received from one ACT! for America member, we agree with the posting at Jihad Watch—the fix was in.

Opponents of the mosque were repeatedly attacked as racists and bigots. No surprise there. By now we all know this is the standard form of propaganda used to avoid discussion of facts in the hope of suppressing free speech.

One board member said it would not be a mosque but a “cultural community center.” Imam Abdul Rauf implied this as well, avoiding using the word “mosque.”

However, Daisy Khan, the imam’s wife, undercut this assertion when she said “there are 200 mosques in New York, what’s the problem with another?”

In a letter distributed at the meeting Manhattan’s Borough president applauded the “multi-faith dialogue” that would take place at the “community and cultural center.”

Yet Khan showed a Power Point presentation that contained one very illuminating message—that the proposed Islamic center would help in the integration of non-Muslims.

Does that sound conducive to “multi-faith dialogue” to you?

Our ACT! for America member reported that Debra Burlingame, whose brother was the pilot of the jet that crashed into the Pentagon, pointed out that the Islamic center is intended to be “sharia compliant.”

In the end the board voted 29 to 9 in favor of the mosque. However, the board has no actual power or authority in this matter. So this is not a done deal.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg needs to hear from concerned citizens across America that we are standing with the families of the victims of 9/11, that in deference to their memory this mosque should be located elsewhere and not at ground zero.

Obama; Dividing a Nation To Bring Radical Change

Obama campaigned on bringing the country together; yet somehow has proved to be the most polarizing president in our history."Hope and change," catchy phrases that masked his unsavory ideology and subversive agenda. This divisive outcome is no accident; causing division among the populous is a means to an end; it is clear now that the goal is to radically transform out nation into a Marxist/Socialist state.

This disgraceful, deceptive and damaged man that is now occupying the White House is a devoted follower of the writings of Saul Alinsky. The writings of Alinsky have heavily influenced the Obama administration as it actively works to divide the nation The result is that the philosophical and political differences of left vs. those of the right has never been so pronounced nor has the mood of the nation been more volatile.

The latest polarizing move is this administration's manipulation of the new Arizona law which mirrors the largely unenforced Federal Immigration law. Obama, Napolitano and Holder have freely criticized it while admitting they never read the law, which is all of twenty pages. Why bother reading it? If it comes from the right; it's wrong. That along with the appalling spectacle of a President that says nothing as the leader of Mexico; Mr. Calderon spews lies and half-truths about our country and our immigration policy, all the while his country's own treatment of illegals has caused Amnesty International to attack Mexico's own harsh policies. Obama once again dissing his country as he further divides it.

The left does not base it's positions on facts so much as it does on emotion. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it…. [T]here is no point to tactics unless one has a target upon which to center the attacks" wrote Alinsky. "The organizer who forgets the significance of personal identification, will attempt to answer all objections on the basis of logic and merit. With few exceptions this is a futile procedure." In other words, don't confuse the blind followers with the facts; emotions are far more effective.

Alinsky believed that an organizer needed to create in the indoctrinated a negative and visceral emotional reaction those on the other side. Remember how the Tea Party members were slandered with false claims of racism? Those that challenged the takeover of healthcare were similarly smeared and discounted. It is all a tactic; a means to an end of the Marxists that are in control of our government and are hijacking the country.

America is being attacked economically via the Cloward and Piven model (bringing about radical change by overloading the system)and on a political and philosophical front by the Alinsky model. Alinsky said: "Men will act when they are convinced their cause is 100 percent on the side of the angels, and that the opposition are 100 percent on the side of the devil." That is what those blind Obama followers on the left think of their opposition, the Tea Partiers, even our Founding Fathers; to them, we are all the devil; we need to be stopped. So, what Obama has promised America and is attempting to deliver is "transformative" change; change that is to be achieved by destroying our country from within. He is close to achieving this; something the Progressives have dreamed of for decades. Well, unfortunately we are on to them. Transform our country? Like hell he will.

After Obama Administration Bails Out Greece; California Here We Come

Obama has been pushing German Chancellor Angela Merkel to pony up to the bailout of Greece to the tune of nearly a trillion dollars from all "contributors." A trillion dollars for a country with a population less than that of Los Angeles County. In the words of Merkel, it "just buys time." What has happened to Greece is brewing throughout Europe, with the weak Eurozone economies of Spain and Portugal looming. Expect a hellish domino effect if that takes place.

So why is the world throwing good money no one actually has after bad? Is it because the world is spending like a drunken liberal and can't stop? Partly. Is it because of Obama's incessant pushing of European leaders? Partly. But why is he pushing so? Because a European bailout sets a precedent for bailouts here in America. Into TARP was included 112 billion dollars to bailout bankrupt states. There are 48 states that are nearing financial collapse (with California, New York and New Jersy heading the pack) totaling nearly 450 billion in total deficits.

The quickest way to bring about transformative change? Collapse the system. Again, the Cloward and Piven strategy rears it's ugly head (see the post here from August 25, 2009). It is the crisis of all crises and the Obama gang is not about to let this one go to waste.

Will Latinos Save America?

The global culture is changing rapidly, with Islam overtaking Christendom; Islam has now overtaken Catholicism as the world's largest religion. In order for a culture to maintain itself for a period of 25 years requires a fertility rate of 2.1 children per family. A fertility rate of 1.9 has never been reversed and a 1.3 rate is said to have an zero probability rate of reversal in that it would require 80-100 years for a reversal.

The European Union, which is made up of 31 countries is on an irreversible course, with a 1.38 fertility rate, whereas Muslim immigrants have a fertility rate of about 8 (in France 8.1 per family). By 2025 one third of all children born in the European Union will be Muslim. It is estimated that by 2050, the entire continent will be Islamic. A quote from Maummar al-Gaddifi, leader of Libya; "There are signs that Allah will grant victory to Islam in Europe without swords, without guns, without conquest. We don't need terrorists, we don't need suicide bombers, with 50 million Muslims (in Europe) we will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades."

Canada is going in the same direction as is the United States. Presently the U.S. has a 1.6 fertility rate per family; we also are headed on an irreversible course. At an Islamic Strategy Conference held in Chicago, part of their agenda was to address this issue: "We must prepare ourselves for the reality that in 30 years, there will be 50 million Muslims living in America."

How does one reverse this course? Countries may have all the "increase our population" campaigns, increased tax credits for larger families, or whatever else one can imagine, but the effects of any or all is bound to be minimal and have little effect on low fertility rates. Western culture has changed what with more wives working outside the home, less influence from religion, more birth control; a myriad of reasons as to why we are having less children, all have contributed to a culture that produces less children than previous generations.

Europe will be lost in a few decades. If America is to avoid Islamicization, what can be done? The most logical method would be to increase legal immigration from our southern border. Our fertility rate rises from 1.6 per family to 2.1 when increased Latino immigration is factored in. Latino culture is quite compatible with American culture; Latinos assimilate well into America. The same cannot be said with much of the Muslim culture. It is a fact that radical Islam's ultimate goal is to Islamisize the entire globe. It would be in our country's best interest to work towards real immigration reform, build the damned border fence and increase legal immigration levels for our neighbors to the south. Our country's future depends on it.

With Limits on Nukes, Obama Jeopardizes American Security

The Obama administration has proposed to implement a new policy on the use of nuclear weapons. It's "goal" according to the White House is to move toward a policy where the "sole purpose" for nuclear weapons will be to deter to or respond to a nuclear attack. Also proposed that the US may not respond with a nuclear weapon if a nation attacks the US with a biological or chemical attack if that nation is in compliance with the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty.

What this policy will essentially do is to make the US a target; an easy mark. By declaring that we will not strike first and by limiting the use of our nuclear weapons puts the US at a very great risk. This policy has the effect of making the US appear weak in the eyes of our enemies; thereby inviting attack. Obama's now painfully obvious dislike of this country and his leftist belief in moral relativism has now taken a most dangerous manifestation.

My hope is that country can survive until this man is out of office. He has yet again broken the oath he took to defend the United States and it's Constitution. If ever there was a need to impeach a US president, this is the time.

Obama: More Nuclear Power, More Off-Shore Drilling -- Not a Chance

Surprised by Obama's suddenly embracing the building of more nuclear power plants and to increase offshore drilling? Don't be. Another diversion from other issues such as his disastrous healthcare legislation, debt worries and 10%+ unemployment.

What Obama said in May:"I think we do have to look at nuclear, and what we've got to figure out is can we store the material properly? Can we make sure that they're secure? Can we deal with the expense?" Meaning: Forget about it; he will use environmentalist concerns as well as the subjective question of how secure is secure as far as waste storage to prevent the building of new plants indefinitely. Another lie, yet more half truths, another diversion; call it what you like. So, that along with the calling for increased funding for nuclear plants as he at the same time nixes funds for waste storage reveals Obama's true intentions.

As far as offshore drilling he proposed most recently; more of the same. He has urged Congress to move on the "climate change" bill. This includes cutting greenhouse gasses (including the harmless carbon dioxide) by 17% by the year 2020. Also in the works are new co2 emissions rules from the EPA. The Interior Department has already said that it will hold off any potential drilling with years of environmental studies on the eastern seaboard and outer continental shelf drilling. Meaning no more drilling for decades, if ever.

So whenever you think that Obama has moved a bit to the center, think again; it is yet more deception, of which, he is the master.

Obamacare: If They Can Screw it Up, They Will Screw it Up

A provision in the mammoth nightmare Obamacare bill is to cover children with preexisting medical conditions. It was discovered that this would not come into effect until 2014. The Obama administration scrambled today to do damage control and are now trying to do a quick fix. Gee, I guess NO ONE read the damn bill. That provision was one of the more highly touted aspects of this Titanic disaster of legislation; wait until it starts being implemented and see the monumental incompetence become our new reality. Yes, what our beloved government has done with Medicare they will do for Obamacare; the DMV-ification of the best healthcare system in the world has begun.

And guess what? We ALL get to pay for abortions. That Executive Order that the Prez signed; a pig in a poke: it's meaningless and worthless. An Executive Order cannot trump law and will not prevent Obamacare from funding abortions. Did the President not know this? Did the Democrats in Congress (including you Rep. Stupak, you big phony) not know this? Are they all that ignorant? No, just more lies and deception, they don't even try to hide it anymore; they don't have to, do they? With abortion now an entitlement and the mounting trillions of dollars of dept of Medicare and Medicaid; expect healthcare rationing. Let's all just call it what it is, this is "deathcare" and for now we're stuck with it.

Obamacare Aftermath: The Left Won the Battle, But We Will Win the War

Obama seems to have achieved (at least for the time being) his socialized healthcare plan. We may have lost that fight, though one consolation was, finally now his seemingly endless deathcare propaganda campaign that Obama waged was at long last over. Think again. Apparently; Obama is planning a media blitz to boost the public's opinion of his healthcare monstrosity. Just what the doctor ordered; more mind numbing rhetoric from the campaigner and chief. The continued hard sell will begin immediately and continue on up to the November elections. Following that will be "several" years of the same as provisions gradually take effect. Yes, just when you thought the endless Obama hard sell on was over. So much for this administration to at least pretend to be address the looming issues on the economy and unemployment.

Now with another entitlement underway (pray for pending lawsuits to attempt to declare the bill unconstitutional will be successful) and the country drowning in debt from Medicaid and Medicare, expect taxes and fees to be popping up everywhere. Get ready for Democrats to attempt a VAT tax; a national sales tax, yet another fight on the horizon.

America is now uniting against the Obama agenda. Through all of this we have had some true leaders come into the forefront; Senator Eric Cantor, Rep. Paul Ryan, Rep. Michele Bachmann; politicians who are honest and intelligent who give us hope for America's future. Thanks to Rep. Bart Stupak for showing America the face of betrayal of the county while using the issue of abortion to try to save his damned office. Also hopefully gone is the concept of a "moderate" democrat. The Democrat Party has shown itself to be the party of socialist/ Marxist ideals that are 100% contrary to those of the founding fathers. They have made it very clear who and what they are. These statists will continue to ignore the will of the people and to use any method, no matter how low to achieve their agenda to transform this country into Obama's vision of a Marxist utopia. With unemployment holding at over 10%; 22% if you include discouraged workers, with US debt (according to the US Debt Clock) at over 55 trillion dollars, why, oh why is the Obama administration so irrationally fixated on healthcare? We are ready to lose our AAA credit rating, what better way to ensure loosing it than by Congress voting in the most deceptive and fiscally irresponsible bill in world history? And by voting, I mean passing a bill by utilizing a little known maneuver. With China, Japan and others holding $8.5 trillion of our debt, Obama's obsession with healthcare will not exactly engender much faith in the stability of the US nor the dollar.

Apparently, Obama is now informing the Democrats in Congress that they are bound to loose their next election and they may as well go out with a bang, meaning, vote in this disaster and "save" his presidency. Kamikaze Democrats will go down in flames and will take Obama with them. Fine with him; he has said he'd rather be a 'good' one term president; for him the agenda is paramount.

This bill is a disaster from what little we actually know about it (with the Public Option soon to follow according to Senator Reid), Obama knows that if this doesn't pass, time is up on a healthcare takeover. It's not about healthcare, but a power grab of over 1/6 of the US economy's private sector; thereby raising US control by over 50%. More evidence of Cloward and Piven, where you bring on radical sweeping change by overloading and collapsing the country's present economic system. After this, expect amnesty for illegals and cap and tax to be strong armed by using the same politically corrupt and unconstitutional methods that we are witnessing today. As we heard during Bret Baier's great interview this week, Obama is not concerned with "procedural issues;" meaning; to hell with the US Constitution.

This bill will pass, they are pulling out all stops; Obama has postponed an Asia trip and Congress is working through the weekend to do whatever it takes to force this fiasco on a very angry America. Yes America, change is here; the sewer that is Chicago politics has made it's home in DC. Take a good look at your country folks, your president is about to "transform" it into the oblivion that is Marxism.

Obama Bickers Over Health Care, Ahmadinejad Seeks the Mahdi

As the President wastes even more time on the dead-end fiasco power-grab that is Obamacare, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has spewed more of his usual anti-Semitic rhetoric, saying that, "The Zionist regime seeks world control," that Israel is the "origin of all wars and terror" and that Israel's existence was an 'insult to all humanity'. All of his talk would not be so alarming if not for the fact that Iran is now so close to achieving a nuclear weapon. According to the IAEA, Iran has transported close to two tons of low grade uranium from storage deep underground to a facility where it can be enriched to the 20% level (just a jump then to the needed percentage for nuclear weapons).

Ahmadinejad is a devout Shiite Muslim and is a believer in the tenant of Islamic theology of the the 12th Imam. Briefly stated, the Hidden Imam (as he is also referred to by believers as well as the Mahdi) was a direct descendant of the Prophet Mohammed who went missing in the ninth century at the age of five and disappeared; he is said to return only after a period of cataclysmic war and mass bloodshed. Add to this that Ahmadinejad has had his cabinet sign a "contract' that they will work for the Imam's return. That and the fact that Ahmadinejad actually believes that he was born to be the "great jihadist" that will help usher in his vision of the Apocalypse.

Israel is not the only nation targeted in Ahmadinejad's "plan." He believes that the US (in spite of the fact that Obama is the most anti-Israel administration since Carter) is actively trying to prevent the return of the Mahdi, stating that, "They (the US, aka, the Great Satin) have devised all these plans to prevent the coming of the Hidden Imam, because they know that the Iranian nation is the one that will prepare the grounds for his coming and will be the supporters of his rule." Ahmadinejad has spoken often of martyrdom and that being the way "we all must follow."

Our President acts oblivious to all this and he being the moral relativist that he is, this is no doubt the case. With the Obama administration being clueless and hopelessly weak, thank God for Israel, who seems to be presently planning to move on Iran. The latest intel is that the IAF is training for long range missions. With that and the knowledge that the above mentioned Iranian nuclear material now moved to a more easily destroyed location, Israel's time to attack is now. Hope and pray that Israel by going it alone, will save the day for the civilzed world. Safe, for the time being anyway.

Obama arrived armed with a hefty bribe for Nevada voters; part of $1.5 billion (money that we, of course, do not have) for help to finance agencies in the five hardest-hit states in the housing crisis. Obama will be in both campaign and townhall mode; anything to get away from his duties in the White House for which he is proving to be so dangerously inadequate.
Obama is to campaign in Vegas for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who is behind in the polls. Will Obama's time in Las Vegas be helpful to Reid's re-election bid? Doubtful. Obama's endorsements have seemingly become of late the kiss of death to all Democrat campaigns that he touches. With Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts all being recent Republican victories, Obama's "help" for Harry Reid may follow those previous examples of Obama's support; his presence acting as a torpedo for floundering incumbent Democrat campaigns. My guess is that Obama's pathologically large ego is not allowing him to embrace this reality and those in his cabinet are too fearful and/ or cowardly to broach the subject.
With that, conservatives should now pray that our president will next pull out all the stops for California's Barbara Boxer.

On December 25th, 23 year old Nigerian, Umaru Farouk Abdul Mutallab attempted to blow up Northwest Airlines Flight 253, carrying 278 passengers and 11 crew members flying from Amsterdam to Detroit. Mr. Mutallab was not on any "no-fly" list, but was placed on a US intelligence database; the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment list, which is maintained by the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center. This list includes about 550,000 names. includes people with known or suspected contact and/or ties to a terrorist or terrorist organization. People on that list are not necessarily on the no-fly list. Mr. Mutallab had not been placed on a U.S. watch list or a no-fly list, in spite of:

Mr. Mutallab's father Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, a former minister and chairman of First Bank in Nigeriahad and was said to have reported his activities to the US embassy in Abuja as well as Nigerian security agencies due to his son's extreme Islamic views.

Mr. Mutallab was barred from entering the U.K. in May after he reportedly tried to dupe officials into letting him in the country to study at a bogus college.

Mr. Mutallab's ticket, which cost $2,831, paid in cash and left no contact information.

Mr. Mutallab checked no bags and carried only a shoulder bag.

How many more red flags did Mr. Mutallab need to set off for the DHS, the CIA and the FBI to have taken this suspect seriously?

For whatever reason, Mr. Mutallab was in possession of a valid U.S. visa. What in the world does it take to have a U.S. visa pulled, anyway?

Oh, and by the way, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano considers this all a great big success; saying that “the system worked.” In what twisted logic is this horrendous near miss that came so frighteningly close to being pulled off, any sort of a validation of our present system? Just stunning.

With our country's security being led by such dimwits as Napolitano, it is time that the citizens of the U.S. demand that our representatives move to call for more stringent security measures. Whole body imaging scanners are now being used in some airports throughout the U.S. in 20 cities. What is needed, obviously would be scanners placed in all international terminals whose final destinations are the United States. What we found out on Christmas Day in Detroit was that the terrorists have found a way around all other scanning methods. And while we are at it, how about armed U.S. Marshals on all incoming international flights.

It is time for all of us to demand these changes now. With the pathetic Napolitano heading Homeland Security, it is only a matter of time until the enemy achieves a successful attack. The terrorists have found our Achilles's heel; we are all at risk.

The Climate Change Fraud: A Road to Global Governance and Return to the Dark Ages

With the EPA's announcement that greenhouse gasses are harmful to humans and of it's intentions to regulate such gasses including carbon dioxide (the harmless gas needed for plant life), the Obama administration issued a message to Congress. This message; more of a threat, really, of either sign the "Cap and Trade" bill or the EPA will force it's regulations of cap and no trade. Along with this, Americans now face what amounts to the threat that our president is now poised to cede US sovereignty by signing a treaty at UN Climate Change Conference at Copenhagen . Recently leaked documents from the draft of the treaty of that conference, reveals the true intentions of this meeting; to bring about world governance, to shut down development in the third world, and implement a world carbon tax.

One "effective" way to bring down the levels of carbon dioxide would be to reduce the human population: “My three main goals would be to reduce human population to about 100 million worldwide, destroy the industrial infrastructure and see wilderness, with it’s full complement of species, returning throughout the world,” a quote from Dave Foreman, co-founder of Earth First.

In 1991, Maurice Strong, a key developer of global warming scare and members of the Club of Rome came out with the report - “The First Global Revolution”, which states: “It would seem that humans need a common motivation...either a real one or else one invented for the purpose....In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.”

Involved in this multi-billion dollar carbon trading scheme banking forces such as JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America and Goldman Sachs, among others that are involved in derivative trading. In a report from The Guardian, "the carbon market could become double the size of the vast oil market."

Manipulated global hysteria is now giving this horrendous scheme it's momentum. This global scam has been exposed with the release of thousands of pro-climate change scientists' emails, which exposed the lies and the organized fraud, now know as "Climategate." In spite of this expose, the story has being largely ignored and discounted by the Obama administration and the main stream media; thus, the phony climate change agenda continues almost unabated. If implemented as planned, technology will be controlled and curtailed and government regulation will restrict and control all aspects of modern life. Ultimately, the global masses will be facing an engineered dark age, where humankind whose lives will devolve back to an existence amounting to nothing more than serfdom struggling under a totalitarian state.

Those that see the climate change movement for what it is; the world's largest fraud, they have their work cut out for them now; having to fight the duped masses as well as their own corrupt government. The outcomes of the upcoming elections in 2010 and 2012 are vital for this nation to survive.

Obama's Afghanistan speech: And we waited over three months for this?

General Stanley McChrystal, the commander of NATO forces in Afghanistan, requested some 44,000 troops in an August 31st document that was subsequently leaked. Obama finally gave McChrystal an answer on December 2. 93 days. This "delay" as Obama called it, "allowed me to ask the hard questions, and to explore all the different options, along with my national security team, our military and civilian leadership in Afghanistan, and our key partners." What McChrystal got after all that time was a half-hearted, contradictory mess that is bound to fail. Included is an 18 month timeline during which the first six to eight months would be needed just to deploy the 30,000 troops. What, that gives our forces less than 12 months to wrap it up? To properly train an Afghan army, many of which are illiterate? What kind of strategy is that?

Why the micromanaging of 30,000 down from 44,000, which was McChrystal's minimum number requested? To prove the point that Obama is in charge here? Obama implied that NATO troops would make up the difference, but of course, no specifics on that.
The whole idea of even giving a timeline presumes that the Taliban cannot think, plan, nor add and subtract. What's to prevent the enemy to go into hibernation, taking a vacation or moving back in with mom for 18 months and then regrouping? Not a damn thing.

Look, Obama is a pacifist and like it or not (not) he is the commander in chief. The two things do not mix well together. Without being 100% behind the war in Afghanistan, a successful outcome is greatly diminished. As this is where we are, I say we must get out now. Having a neophyte, anti-war leftist running the show cannot end well. Our men and women in uniform should not be put in the line of fire with a President that is afraid to make a move for fear of upsetting his leftist base. Their commander in chief is compromised; his allegiance is elsewhere.

We should not loose one more brave soldier because our electorate was so shortsighted and so easily duped to vote into office a man such as this in a time of war. British and the Soviet Union's past efforts in Afghanistan both failed; with Obama in charge, so will the United States.

The Left's Destruction of Reason; Lessons Yet To Be Learned From Fort Hood

A recent Fox poll found that 49 percent of respondents called the massacre at Fort Hood a "killing spree" with 44 percent choosing "an act of terrorism" as a more accurate description. Obama, when finally getting around to the subject, said that "no faith justifies" the murderous acts of that day. No faith justifies? Does Islam ring a bell? A radicalized interpretation of that faith, granted, but say it is 1%, that gives us 12 million Muslim fanatics worldwide that believe that America is the great Satan and must be destroyed.* Obama urged Congress to hold off on any Ft. Hood probe, and to "resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater."

First of all it was not a tragic event, it was a terrorist act. How can I say this? Well, let's look at the facts; the facts that the media and our government have already swept under the political correctness rug:
-The suspect's frequent correspondence with radical Yemeni Muslim cleric Anwar al-Aulaqi, who had alleged ties with al Qaeda.
-The suspect's shouts of “Allah Akbar” as he gunned down unarmed innocents.
-The documented hate speech of the suspect, when referring to non-Muslims as infidels that should have their throats cut, with boiling oil poured down their throats.
-Oh, and the handy little cards he had printed up, identifying himself as a “Solider of Allah.”

What causes a society to purposely put blinders on to a deadly danger that has murdered thousands of Americans and has vowed to do so again? What causes a society to irrationally fear the possibility of offending it's enemy simply by naming it? I will tell you; a society that has allowed itself to become so brainwashed by political correctness that it behaves in a suicidal, self-loathing manner. With belief in God being constantly eroded by those same forces on the left, all perception of what is right and wrong; good and evil are being dismissed and summarily overruled. We have become a society that opts not to see the world as it truly is, one that no longer chooses to see present dangers for what they really are; we have now reached a point where we no longer will allow ourselves to see our enemies nor what threatens us.

Terror Trials in NYC; Obama's Perverse Priorities

Many of our heads are still reeling over Attorney General Holder's asinine announcement to bring self-proclaimed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his accomplices to New York City to face a civil trial, rather than have them face the clearly more appropriate venue of a military tribunal. This is truly a slap in the face for all relatives of the victims of 9/11 that were slaughtered by these bastards. A letter to the President on Keep America Safe; http://www.keepamericasafe.com/?page_id=1822 is a well crafted argument in favor of military tribunals that I urge all to sign. Look to the end of the letter and see the scores of surviving family members from that awful day, many indicating what building and floor, which aircraft; quite moving and a reminder of what unnecessary emotional harm this callous decision will inflict on those that have already suffered enough.
The main argument from this administration seems to be some bizarre opinion that we as a nation need to show the world "we trust" our justice system and the equally idiotic idea that these terrorists need to be tried in the vicinity of where the crimes took place. Why not hold the trials in the field of Pennsylvania? It makes as much sense.
This along with the reality that it will give the terrorists a forum from which to grandstand and no doubt recruit. American intelligence will be put on trial; the tactics used will be put before the world as well as other sensitive intelligence that will be subpoenaed.
What of a jury of their peers? No doubt a Muslim or two will "need" to be put on the jury and it only takes one dissenting vote to cause a mistrial. Also, who in their right mind would volunteer to be a juror on this trial, let alone being the judge? A fatwa should be expected by all and possibly their families, regardless of the final verdicts.
Of course the defense attorneys will leave no stone unturned to prevent any and all evidence to be presented; at the time of their capture none of these terrorists were expected in any one's wildest dreams to face a U.S. civil trial. Because of this, no Miranda rights were read, interrogation tactics may be ruled unconstitutional, much of the evidence will be thrown out as inadmissible. It will be a circus and it will be a long, costly, embarrassing disaster to the nation.
And for what? So Obama can prove to the world that he has transformed America into some kinder, gentler country? Maybe. But, I think the deep underlying motivation here is to stick it to Bush and especially to Cheney; what with his many, on-target criticisms of the Obama administration. This thin-skinned, vindictive administration wants it's revenge; holding these trials in the U.S. would enable the prosecution to put on trial, yes, the terrorists, but, more importantly to the Obama administration; to stick it to Bush and to stick it to Cheney and of course; the CIA. In the minds of the Obama administration, they are the real enemies here, not the terrorists.

In the US, annual deaths attributed to the "common" flu vary between 18,000 to 36,000 depending on the source. With the H1N1, estimates of possible US deaths ranged wildly, with some estimates being 600,000 and higher. Prematurely named a national emergency, H1N1 has proved to be far less fatal than the ordinary flu virus. What seems to be swept under the media rug is the Obama administration's horrendous mismanagement of obtaining and distribution of the vaccine, with long delays and most areas in the country receiving supply shortages of 25% and higher (in spite of the shortages, plenty of H1N1 vaccine was somehow found for the Gitmo terror suspects). All of this at the time that the virus was to have reached it's peak infection rate at the end of October. That being said, if the H1N1 had proved as fatal as predicted by some, US death tolls would have been enormous. Nationally and globally we all dodged a bullet here. If H1N1 would have been as potent a danger as all the overblown press coverage at first proposed, it would have made Hurricane Katrina look like a tea party.
This recent example of ineptitude mirror those other government run disasters, namely Medicare and Social Security both running in the red in the tens of trillions and are destined to not only to fail, but to bankrupt the nation as well.
Any doubts as to whether or not we should hand over national health care with a "public option" to the US government should end here.

Forget Iraq, Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran and any and all other national and international issues; Obama's White House has the real enemy in it's sights, a US cable network - Fox News. Not surprising; Obama's Communications Director Anita Dunn has recently shared with a high school audience of all people (gotta get em while they're young!) that her philosophical idol is no other than Mao Tse Tung. Now who could fault her for looking up to a genocidal maniac that slaughtered 70 million of his own people? Certainly not her boss; she fits right in with his staff who consist of Marxists, Communists, socialists and assorted Chicago thugs. How comforting that this White House has it's priorities straight.
Is it possible that the Obama White House never heard about Nixon's vendetta on the New York Times and how well that went, or this is all one big distraction? Is it possible, perhaps that this is all a smokescreen to distract us all from the Democrats' grab for additional power via the Obama deathcare with the public option? Or could it be a method of relieving the pressure to do ANYTHING in regards to Afghanistan? Well, whatever the strategy or lack thereof, this country is now going down several paths that should be alarming to anyone who is even halfway paying attention to this White House and all that is has been up to since January.
By so blatantly attacking one of this administration's most visible detractors does nothing lessen the huge divide between the left and the right; though, clearly that was never an actual goal of this presidency. By gaining control of the banking system, car companies, health care, the energy sectors with cap and trade; through controlling and regulating as many possible sectors of the economy along with amnesty for illegals in order to insure the votes, Obama's transformation of America will be realized.
Fox News, along with the internet and talk radio are the only sources that we the people have to go to in order to get the truth, to connect, to organize and to resist this Marxist administration. Time will see who will prevail; but it seems their plan would have more easily realized had they silenced the media first. Luckily, is seems even the great Obama has his Achilles heel. Israel must move militarily before Iran receives Russia's S-300 missile defense system

Iran has purchased the Russian made S-300 surface to air missile defense system; a deal made several years ago according to Israel and is due to be delivered very soon. The S-300 system is reported to be one of the world's most advanced multi-target anti-aircraft missile systems and can track up to 100 targets simultaneously, capable of hitting targets at altitudes of 90,000 feet.
The Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, reportedly intercepted a ship traveling from Russia to Iran and was thought to be carrying S-300 missiles. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has made an unofficial visit to Moscow for talks that no doubt centered on the shipment of the S-300s. When asked, Netanyahu's reply was vague, stating that Israel "retains the right to defend itself" and that "ultimately, the job of the IAF is to provide security for the State of Israel and we know how to do this."
The embarrassingly weak and compromised Obama administration cannot be relied on for support; it has just thrown the Chez Republic as well as Poland under the bus; we can only expect the same treatment for Israel. In spite of the IAEA's claims that Iran is far from being capable of constructing a nuclear weapon, intelligence sources say otherwise. Knowing that, Ahmadinejad's many threats to destroy Israel and the S-300 deal underway, there are few options now open to Israel if it wishes to survive. Expect Israel to act and to act soon to use military action to take out the Iranian nuclear threat.

Obama's unnatural love of unions has led him to impose tariffs on imports of Chinese tires. This has led to China threatening action against US poultry and vehicles. These recent actions will escalate to an all out trade war with China as well as with other countries. Not so long ago, such protectionism helped to usher in the Great Depression in the 1930's.
Either Obama has no concept of capitalism or he is purposely working to collapse the US economy. But Obama is no fool, he cannot be this ignorant of either economics nor of history. All of this may cause China to call in our debts, thereby leading to the collapse of the dollar. By Obama orchestrating another attack on the US economy on yet another front would create an environment in which Obama can create his socialist utopia. With our economic system and capitalism destroyed the perfect storm will have been created for Obama to have his goals realized; a socialist system instituting the redistribution of wealth, the death of the middle class and a global economy with transnational boarders.
Remember during the Presidential campaign the words of an Obama supporter; 'we won't have to worry about paying our rent or putting gas in our tanks.' He will be the one who will save us; he promised change America and boy, is he delivering.

Estimates range up to two million protesters had attended the rally, but don't expect Obama to comment on any of it; he has been always dismissive of any and all of his critics. He and the Democrats play down any role of public option; but Obama has publicly called for it and as we have learned the hard way; he does what he says that he will do.
No matter the wording in the bill, once passed, private health insurers will not be able to compete with a government that will spend itself in oblivion in order to achieve it's goals. Expect abortion to be included in the package as well, in spite of what Obama and his gang tells us; remember, Obama was the most pro-abortion Senator prior to his being elected. Sorry, but Congressman Joe Wilson got it right; "You lie."
Unfortunately, protests don't matter; nothing his critics say matters to our Marxist in Chief, the arrogance of this narcissist is almost palatable. Expect any attempts to get the support of Republicans or "Blue Dog" Democrats to be dropped. Instead expect the Democrats to utilize the tactic of being "forced" into using the partisan budget tool, "reconciliation" to ensure passage of Obama's deathcare. This will enable them have the bill passed with a simple majority rather than the usual 60 votes. Under a bill passed earlier this year, the Democrats could invoke reconciliation on October 15.
So, Americans, forget Obama's previous calls for bipartisanship, he seemingly will stop at nothing to achieve his agenda. The American voters were fools who did not properly vet their candidate. Isn't buyer's remorse a bitch?

With Increased Control of Public Schools, Obama's Indoctrination Begins

Obama's September 8th speech to our nation's public school children was the first of no doubt many other efforts to create a separation between children and their parents. Allegiance to one's parents will be instead replaced with a "higher" cause; the global community (with emphasis on radical environmentalism, "global climate crisis" and the like) and of course, allegiance to their exalted leader. With calls for our children to "help" Obama and focusing on "what the president wants us to do" and writing letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president, the indoctrination begins in earnest.
To totally transform society requires life as we know it to be reshaped. Already underway is the destruction of our government and our economy. Thanks to the destructive agenda of the Department of Education, what little American and world history that has been taught has been purposely corrupted. Nearly gone are the reference to God, allegiance to country, personal freedom, the Founding Fathers; any and all remnants of our true heritage has either be radically changed or just not referenced at all.
This quote sums it all up nicely: “We no longer see the teaching of facts and information as the primary outcome of education” a quote from Dr. Shirley McCune stated in a 1989 Governor’s Conference on Education. Our public schools are no longer places of learning so much as a tool of our new Marxist government to mold the young and impressionable in order to more easily control the population.

The Fraudulent Reinvention of Ted Kennedy

Enough already with the endless media glorification of Ted Kennedy as some great American statesman and with the dredging up for one last merciful time, the mythical "Camelot." Instead, let us remember Ted for what he was; a coward and murderer. 40 years ago while intoxicated, Ted drove a colleague Mary Jo Kopechne from an all night coed bachelor party. Kennedy crashed his car off a bridge in Chappaquiddick in Martha’s Vineyard into the water. He managed to escape and was for whatever reason, did not or could not rescue Mary Jo. Instead he swam across the bay to his apartment, called his lawyer and proceeded to wait ten hours until he finally was sober enough not to have failed any drunk test; thereby escaping any possibility of being charged with felony murder. He in the end was not charged for any crime, he also avoided a lawsuit for negligent homicide by paying off Mary Jo's family with an undisclosed sum.
When the authorities recovered Mary Jo's it was apparent that she was still alive after the car reached the bottom of the water; she was found with her head in the last remaining air pocket, as she struggled to survive.
I say, screw Ted Kennedy and his memory. Let he be remembered for what he was; a privileged, cowardly murderer. One good thing about his death; at least he will have to finally answer to a higher authority for his crimes and Mary Jo will finally receive perhaps, some form of justice. Ted's money, influence and position cannot help him now.

The Approaching New American Civil War

Seemingly from day one, the Obama administration has brought this country "reform" legislation and radical changes in it's government in a manner that has been shocking in it's brazenness. The trillions of dollars proposed to be spent for the "stimulus" package, cap and trade and now health care go against all reason; the combination of which now threaten to increase our national debt to unimaginable and unsustainable levels.
The truly indoctrinated have, for the most part, followed blindly; including the MSM, none questioning, all supporting blindly their great leader. Those of us on the other side of the aisle have also been watching, all the while becoming more alarmed, more angry and increasingly more vocal in our disapproval.
This administration seems to us radical, dangerous and inexperienced; pushing their radical change recklessly at blistering 'shock and awe' speed. I believe that rational behind the speed aspect of their agenda is two fold. First of all they know that they may have at most one four year term to have such strength in controlling both the executive and legislative branches of government. Secondly, by pushing forth their agenda as rapidly as they have throws off their critics and detractors; leaving them with insufficient time to address one grievance before another is thrust into the national arena. I also believe that the Obama administration is not acting haphazardly, no, far from it.
This administration's actions seem inspired by the infamous "Cloward-Piven Strategy"- with the resemblance here being too close to be accidental or coincidental. Richard Cloward and Francis Piven first introduced their theory in 1966 in The Nation, whereby they proposed to bring about radical change through the creation and manipulation of an enoumous, national manufactured crisis. Hints of this strategy was most recently hinted at by Rahm Emanuel's allegedly remark of, 'Never letting a good crisis go to waste.' In Piven and Cloward's article, they hypothesized that the ruling class used welfare to keep the poor masses placated; thereby circumventing uprisings and revolt. Their theory proposes to overload these welfare programs by actively recruiting more and more to claim such entitlements, until such programs reach critical mass and implode. This is where the roles of Acorn, SEIU and other such organizations become increasingly clear.
By creating social, political and economic chaos and eventual collapse, revolutionary change would be ushered in. With this, capitalism would be crushed. In it's place, a society where the wealth would be redistributed and government would control every aspect of our lives, from birth to death, with the Executive Branch holing all the power.
Our dear president's past and present involvements do nothing but lead one to the conclusion that this is indeed their ultimate goal. Obama's past connections with Acorn, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dorn, his love of the writings of Saul Alinsky and the like were all brushed aside in the past by most as exaggerations or distortions. Well, now, seven months into this fiasco of a presidency, we cannot be so dismissive. Polls are showing support for this administration shrinking daily. Time is short and the Obama gang knows this; they will now need a new, monumental 'crisis' to be manipulated and used to their advantage. One possibility being the H1 N1 virus (Swine flu), which has been relentlessly played up to induce fear in the population. We shall see.
But one thing is clear, we need to all question everything coming from this administration; their motives have become clear and their agenda alarming to anyone truly loves this country and is paying attention to what is happening abound them. September 12 is almost here. Get out, voice your outraged and prepare for the approaching new American civil war.

Holder Planning CIA Investigation: Obama Administration Jeopardizing American Security

According to the Los Angeles Times (8/9/2009), Attorney General Holder is actively seeking a special prosecutor in preparation for his probe of the CIA regarding alleged abuse during interrogations of terror suspects. What Holder would be investigating would be whether the Bush Administration lawfully interpreted anti-torture laws. This would be a blatant attack against the Bush Administration; a kind of post Presidential impeachment. An investigation of this kind would most likely lead nowhere, alleged evidence is poor and the legality of such a prosecution is untested. In addition, intelligence officials were acting in a manner that they deemed appropriate and necessary to keep America safe following 9/11. An investigation of interrogation of al- Qaeda detainees would reap no benefits, as these procedures have since been changed.
If this administration continues along this unwise, partisan and dangerous path, US security will ultimately suffer. Ongoing intelligence investigations would suffer if there would be a cloud of investigation and possible prosecution hovering over them. This collateral damage to US intelligence would no doubt be severe and long lasting. One may ask why this administration so much more driven to prosecute US soldiers and CIA operatives than it is with terrorists that are actively seeking to destroy us.

Is the Obama Administration Losing Iraq?

It is feared that the Obama administration's Middle East policies will lead to the US in essence losing the war in Iraq. Difficult to believe at this point, but that appears to be the situation that is now developing. A referendum, SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement) postponed until January 2010 would require US forces to leave Iraq within 12 months. With the Iraqi people largely resenting and disapproving of US "occupation", it is expected that SOFA will fail; wreaking Obama's planned slow departure. Adding to insecurities in Iraq are Obama' comments; calling the Iraq war, one that "should never have been authorized and never been waged," and his calling the war in Afghanistan as being "fundamental to the defense of our people." Not exactly words that would give a leader of this troubled nation any sense of security. Because of this, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has been placed in an untenable position of looking for an new ally.
Maliki has a tenuous hold on his government and has sought to strengthen ties with Iran. He has received a warm welcome there during a recent visit. Also, recall he had spent extended periods of time in Iran in exile during Saddam's rule. In addition, Iraq is attempting to control the Shiite- Sunni sectarian violence. Shiite militias are thought to be blamed for this situation; militias that are linked to certain parties in Iraq's government as well as with Iran itself. Not a good scenario. What with the Obama administration's apparent lack of serious interest in ensuring success in Iraq as well as Maliki attempting to hold onto power with whatever alliances that are available, the future of Iraq now hangs in the balance.
The Obama administration needs to remember that the US has a responsibility to the Iraqi people not to stand by while Maliki destroys any possibility of democracy in Iraq. He also owes it to our troops that fought and died for this cause.
It all seems reminiscent of Pakistan acquiring nuclear weapons during the Clinton administration. Let's hope that this administration won't be known throughout history as the one which did nothing to prevent Iran becoming a nuclear power and the one which did nothing to prevent an alliance to be made between Iran and Iraq.

Will the next terror strike be an EMP attack? Is the Obama administration leaving us at risk?

Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) in short, is an enemy ballistic missile that carries a nuclear weapon, launched by an enemy nation and detonated 200 miles or so above the United States. The EMP would literally fry the entire US electrical grid by throwing off incredable amounts of electro-magnetic energy (in addition to releasing thermal radiation, heat and a concussive force). Our electrical system would act as antennas sucking in a rush of electrons that would fry all circuits and burn out microchips. It is possible that the entirety of the US electrical grid would be instantly gone; rendering all our necessities of modern life that require electricity dead and useless.
Automobiles and all transportation would come to a halt, with their circuits fried. Water pumping, and sewage treatment plants would be off-line, causing untold health risks. Hospitals would be without power, meaning all of our modern medical care would be virtually non-existent.
Amazingly enough, the Department of Homeland Security does not even include an EMP attack in any of it's disaster planning scenarios.
Worse yet; the Obama administration has slashed 1.2 billion dollars from the missile-defense budget, the best weapons we have to prevent EMP attacks.
How probable is this sort of attack? This scenario is dismissed by some in the Pentagon and DHS. Does this dismissive response from our government not give a level of encouragement to any enemy that may have been considering such an attack? It wasn't so long ago that the idea that our enemies would use our airliners as missiles to attack US targets would have drawn the same response from the same officials. So, it appears that today that an EMP attack is viewed equally remote today as 9/11 would have on 9/10/01. Will the next terror strike here be an EMP attack? Is the Obama administration leaving us at risk? God only knows the answer to the former and I believe that "yes" is the answer to the latter.

Is the US' Present Course Towards Socialism Inevitable?

Obama is attempting to usher in socialism. Half of this country sees it and fears it, the other half seemingly wants it, or is blind to the reality of it. Sadly, here is what happens historically and what is happening now:

Is all of this civilization's inevitable progression? I hope not. History tells us "yes", but we as a society can say "no" to that fatalistic mindset. Based on our history, we have overcome comparable obstacles, if not worse. We all have our work cut out for us, if we intend to enable this great society to survive; America, the world's last best hope.

The initial establishment of this great country also went against all historical odds. We need to find it in ourselves to find that same resolute determination. I believe that we have the will and the very same determination. Let's get to it; time's a wasting.

Obama vows immigration 'overhaul' this year; expect amnesty for illegals

Obama Administration holding back $100 million in drill leases

"Drillers are steamed by the process. They don't understand why the federal government is sitting on such an enormous sum of money, especially at a time when politicians Washington are so focused on spending stimulus money to revive the economy."
It is because this administration is moving to force the population into "green" energy, no matter what the cost. Expect to see gas prices rise, electricity to rise and the price of goods and services as a direct result.

Democrats Use Census Illegally to Count Illegals; Thereby Changing Congress

US Census workers are counting non-citizens, including illegal aliens. Article I, Section 2 of the US Constitution and later modified by the 14th Amendment is clear in it's calling for the census to count only 'All persons born or naturalized in the United States.' By doing so, states get extra Congressional seats that the are not entitled to; giving themselves more power in Congress than they are legally entitled. It seems the tactics of Acorn are deeply entrenched in the ranks of the Democrat Party. Shameful.

There is an old phrase that is attributed to Winston Churchill that goes; "If you're not Liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not Conservative when you're 35, you have no brain." Now, there are differing variations on this alleged quote and it is disputed whether he ever uttered it at all. I have found the hard way, that it's not a phrase you want to throw around, just in case there is a liberal within earshot.
Regardless of all of that, it's a phrase that pretty much sums up my evolution. It was a long road to get here and I believe my "transformation" from flaming leftist liberal activist to a very far right conservative came by finally learning to reach conclusions through reason rather than emotion. Thinking back to past beliefs and behaviors, that's exactly what I did. I cringe inside thinking about what a fool I was, but like the saying goes; ignorance is bliss, and boy, that was ever the case.
It is something that has more than mystified my old friends that are still of the liberal persuasion. I assume that most of them think that I went off the deep end and they just put up with the "new" me. I quickly realized that the indoctrinated remain that way the older we are and the more that we are submerged in that mentality; resisting being exposed to other viewpoints with an open mind. We all tend to resist change and anything that could cause us to question ourselves, our lives, our beliefs. Funny the lengths we will go to to avoid learning anything new that would contradict what we already "think" that we know. That cognitive dissonance can be a bitch.
The point of all this is just to let you know where I am coming from. I believe that the present road our country is on is the wrong one; the dangerous one. We conservatives are in for the fight of our lives now trying to save this great country. So for me, I will pick my battles wisely, leaving the lost causes behind and putting my focus on what I see as winnable: presenting what I now see and believe as truth and exposing the lies. It is so easy to go through life without questioning our old paradigms, worldviews and beliefs. To question such things makes us uneasy and we seem to go to great lengths not to upset the old apple cart. Hey, but once we do, we start to free ourselves from the old constraints of our ignorance and misconceptions. Once we do that, we become seekers of truth and boy, is that ever liberating. You betcha.
